OKAY...................it's been just WAY TOO LONG since I have posted. But Mom has just been busy she says. Anyway........a lot of changes has been going on here. Dad has changed jobs and so has my human sister, Katie (twice actually), then there was Thanksgiving, several weekends of Roxie here and now Christmas is less than two weeks away. I guess I am doing good getting this post in...........? Anyway.............during one of the past weekends that Roxie was here Mom subjected Roxie and me to a photo shoot for Christmas. Guess she was trying to get into the spirit of Christmas and it turned into Christmas Cards for this year. Here's Roxie's (that turned into Katie's card). And of course then there's ours. And if I'm not able to get on before Christmas here's wishing you all a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS

JUST WHAT IS GOING ON?

There are some changes going on at my house and I don't know what they are yet. This past week Dad was home all week and it was GREAT I got two walks a day and didn't have to get in my crate hardly at all. Dad was taking wonderful care of me. And then this week starting with Tuesday it's back into my crate only different hours than I'm use to and Mom and Dad are going to work at different times and not together as they use to. Mom gets home first and then we meet Dad at the park for our daily walk. Okay this is alright. I'm not in my crate as long as I use to be. And then yesterday happened. And I don't know what is going on. Mom and Dad left like they have been this week with me in my crate. And around noon my human sister, Katie, came to see me. It was Great. She let me out of my crate and took me outside and then I took her on a walk. But when we came back she started taking my crate down. What's going on? I DID NOT LIKE THIS and I barked and barked at her but she wouldn't stop. She just laughed at me. She thought I was funny. Then she took my crate and put it in her car. Now I may not like to get in my crate but it's still MINE ......... Then she came back in my house and got my bag that mom puts my stuff in and put my harness and took me to her car. Alright I got in willingly, I do like car rides, but I thought she was taking me to the park to find Mom and Dad. I looked in her back seat and there's my bag and I try to get to my bag and she stops me. I'm scared.............where is she taking me? We've been in the car longer than it takes to go to the park. I start shaking and Katie feels sorry for me and loves me. Then she asks me if I want to see Roxie...........ROXIE...........you bet I want to see Roxie. Then we get to Katie's house...........and there's Roxie. I get to spend the weekend with Roxie. It's going to be a good weekend afterall. But where's Mom and Dad?

A lot has happened since my last post. And again mom is late on the posting thing. Things just keep coming up she says. Anyway..........I'm Eight Months Old now.........and since my last posting mom and dad had been talking about me spending a few days visiting Roxie while they went to some place called Mexico but that didn't happen. Mom got a phone call about her mom being in the hospital and she didn't want to leave the country so we went on a road trip. My FIRST road trip. And I didn't ever think we would get to where we were going wherever that was. 12 HOURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!12 HOURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We stopped at a lot of good sniffing places along the way so I could leave my calling card and saw alot of other pups doing the same. And I got a lot of good napping time in. Mom says I'm a good traveler...........that made her happy. We finally got to where we were going, Colorado, and checked into our hotel. Another first for me. It was sure scary at first. There was this slick floor and high ceiling and just as we got to the desk this LOUD noise started. Mom had to pick me up then............she kept telling me it was just a vacuum but that noise sure didn't sound like the vacuum we have at home. I liked the hotel but Mom had to pick me up whenever we went through that room. I was afraid that noise would start again. Here I am with Pikes Peak in the distance. I'm a bit dusty in this picture. It was a long walk to get up there. We went to the Garden of the Gods and there were a lot of other pups there with their moms and dads. I Loved it. Here is another picture of me there...........Mom has a thing for putting me on large rocks. I wish she wouldn't.

I'm Seven Months Already

and Mom is just now posting. Geeeezzzzzzz you would think she was busy or something like that. Just because she's gone to what she calls work all during the week and my human sister Katie was over with Roxie (her little pug) two weekends in a row and then Mom had to take pictures at a birthday party last weekend she didn't get around to my posting. I tried to post a couple of times but Mom kept shooing me away from the computer telling me to stop shopping. She always does that just before I make off with one of her socks too......not sure why though.....there was no socks there I looked. Anyway....I am going to try to post a picture of Roxie if Mom can figure out how to do that. Isn't she cute? Roxie is 4 months old and I'm teaching her all I know. She's gotten the making off with her Mom's high heels down pretty good too.
